ViniVault/Apps
A vinyl inventory of what is actually on the shelf
The useful question is a plain one: which records are actually here? ViniVault is a list you can search, with a sleeve beside each record that has one.

A list you can trust
Insurance, a house move, and a clear-out all need the same list. Titles from memory miss the records at the back of the pile, and they miss the ones you forgot you owned.
The inventory should say which pressing you own. Two copies of the same album are not the same object, and a later reissue is not a stand-in for an original.
A trustworthy inventory is dull on purpose. Artist, title, pressing, and a sleeve you recognise. The stories and the grades can follow once the list exists.
A list you can take out of the app
The working copy lives on your account, so a second phone can open it. A file is the other copy: something you can store with household papers or open in a spreadsheet.
Export after a long cataloguing session, and again after a large purchase. A file from last year will not know about the records you added last month.
How this works in ViniVault
Add each record once, choose the pressing, and export a CSV from Account when you need a file of your own. Records you typed in by hand are included, not only the ones found by search.
The free shelf holds 100 records. Pro is £1.99 a month for an unlimited shelf. Either way, the inventory stays private. Other people cannot browse it.
Questions
- Can I download the inventory?
- Yes. Account includes a CSV export of the collection, taken while you are signed in. It is not a public page.
- Does the inventory include records I added by hand?
- Yes. The shelf and the export are the vault, however each record was added.
