The shelf is what you own. The wishlist is what you are looking for. Keeping them apart makes a shop visit faster.
Separate from the collection
A wanted record stays on the wishlist until you find it. It is not counted as part of the collection, and it does not change your collection value. When you bring a copy home, you can collect it onto the shelf.
Statistics includes a Still hunting count so you can see how long that list is without opening every title.
Useful in a shop
Open the wishlist on your phone before you dig through a crate. You can also use Do I own it? when you are holding a record and cannot remember whether it is already on the shelf.
