Export your vinyl collection
Download a file of the shelf when you want to keep it, print it, or open it in a spreadsheet. ViniVault exports the collection as a CSV.

When you want a file
People export before a house move, for an insurance file, or because they like a spreadsheet beside the app. The file is yours. It is a snapshot of the shelf at the moment you download it.
Export does not replace the shelf. Notes, prices, and records you add later live in the app until you export again. An old file will not know about them.
The CSV is a list, not the sleeves and not a public page. You download it while you are signed in. Nobody else can open your vault and take the file.
What the file is for
A printed list for a mover. A spreadsheet you can sort. A copy to keep with household papers. It is not a way to publish the collection, and it is not a valuation certificate.
If you typed a price, that figure is the one you decided. The market guide fills records you left blank. Read the file in that light: some rows are yours, and some are a guide.
How this works in ViniVault
Sign in, open Account, and use the CSV export. Create an account first if the vault does not exist yet. Export again after any large adding session.
Records added by search, barcode, Discogs import, or by hand are all in the same collection, so they are all in the export.
Questions
- Is the export public?
- No. You download it while you are signed in. The file is not a page other people can browse.
- Does a later edit update the file on its own?
- No. Export again when you want a new snapshot. The app remains the up-to-date shelf.
